Many organizations want to be the best employer. But, of course, it is not entirely fair to claim this as an employer about your own organization. That’s why Great Place To Work recognizes organizations that are truly great workplaces according to their own employees. This recognition is awarded through our annual Best Workplaces list. But how do you get on this list?
Step 1: Certification
Only certified organizations are eligible for a spot on the Best Workplaces list. The certification process involves the following criteria:
-
A score of 70% or higher on the Trust Index
-
A minimum response rate based on the organization’s size
-
A completed Culture Brief™
Step 2: Best Workplaces
Each year, we publish the Best Workplaces list in the Netherlands. This list is based on the Trust Index employee survey and consists of four categories: small, medium, mid-large, and large. Certified organizations with the highest Trust Index scores are eligible for a place on the list.
For organizations in the large category (500+ employees), the Culture Audit is also taken into account. The Culture Audit provides insights into your organization's culture and includes six open-ended questions about trust, meaningful values, leadership, maximizing everyone's potential, and innovation capability.
The ranking of the list is determined using the Great Place To Work For All formula.
